Das Leitbild ASE - Advanced Systems Engineering umfasst die integrierte Betrachtung der drei Handlungsfelder Advanced Systems (AS), Systems Engineering (SE) und Advanced Engineering (AE). Ziel von ASE ist die Unterstützung der Entwicklung zukünftiger AS wie System of Systems und der an der Wertschöpfung beteiligten Unternehmen. Hierfür werden im Kern Ansätze (Methoden, Prozesse, Tools etc.) des SE, insbesondere MBSE, sowie neue Ansätze des AE, bspw. hinsichtlich Kreativitätstechniken, agilen Prinzipien, Methoden der strategischen Produktplanung/-entwicklung und digitale Technologien (KI, Digital Twins) genutzt bzw. weiterentwickelt.

The mission statement ASE - Advanced Systems Engineering comprises the integrated consideration of the three fields of action Advanced Systems (AS), Systems Engineering (SE) and Advanced Engineering (AE). The goal of ASE is to support the development of future AS such as System of Systems and the companies involved in the value creation. For this purpose, approaches (methods, processes, tools, etc.) of SE, in particular MBSE, as well as new approaches of AE, e.g. with regard to creativity techniques, agile principles, methods of strategic product planning/development and digital technologies (AI, Digital Twins) are used or further developed.
