Supporting Design Engineers in Becoming Experts in Design for X

The aim is to understand the design challenges in Design for X and use this understanding to support design engineers at different levels of expertise in the design process. 
The problem is that even experienced design engineers do not realize the potential of individual manufacturing technologies!
To this end, the current situation with regard to designing with sheet metal or adhesives, for example, as well as for sustainability is surveyed with you and barriers to leveraging the potential of designing in Design for X are identified and reduced. 
In a customized design project, the current use of design guidelines is then examined and, based on this, special support for dealing with design challenges in Design for X is discussed. This supports design engineers in implementing their ideas in Design for X and thus offers added value for their product.
