Workshop Extended Target Weighing Approach (ETWA)
A common mistake in the development of lightweight solutions is the consideration and optimization of individual subsystems, whose combination does not necessarily lead to an overall system optimum. Optimal lightweight solutions only arise from analyzing the entire system in terms of function, mass, cost, and CO2 emissions. In our ETWA workshop, you will learn a systematic approach to identify and evaluate lightweight potential. Based on an individually presented issue from your company, you will learn how cross-component design synthesis can be stimulated through the use of methods.
Your added value
In this workshop, you will learn:
- Considering systems across component boundaries based on functional analyses
- A systematic approach to identifying and evaluating lightweight potentials
- Using methods for cross-component design synthesis
Your needs
-
Methodical support in the development of overall system-optimal lighweight solutions
-
New insights and assistance for an existing issue in lightweight construction
Our offer
-
