Mechatronic machine elements: Evaluation of reliability and coupling to the Power-Tool
Our vision
At the Chair of Power Tools and Machine Elements, we focus our research on the field of data-driven product development. The aim of our research and development activities is to support the design and testing of mechatronic systems with application-oriented methods and solutions. We work closely with partners from industry to find solutions to specific problems and drive innovation. We use both simulative and experimental approaches for implementation. In doing so, we make use of IPEK's first-class equipment with numerous test benches, modern measurement technology and simulation tools.
Your mission with us
Scientific excellence
Make a contribution by integrating sensors into machine elements. The data generated from these mechatronic machine elements enables the evaluation of reliability at machine element level. In addition, the data can be used at power tool level to recognize and react to applications.
The research thus focuses on the integration of sensor technology into machine elements, the development of test environments to prove reliability and the coupling of the data with the power tool for recognition and adaptation to the application.
Participate in national and international conferences and network with leading experts to present your results to a global research community. The scientific goal in our team is a PhD.
Interface between research and industry
Immerse yourself in exciting research and development activities, realized through dynamic collaborations with leading companies. Take responsibility in your projects and seize the opportunity to help shape groundbreaking innovations.
