Validation of technical Systems

Did you ever wonder how complex cyber-physical systems like automated vehicles, medical devices or power tools are tested and validated?
In our lecture “Validation of technical Systemes” you will get the insights and answers concerning:
- … the discussion and analysis of different validation environments in detail (e.g.: chassis roller test bench)
- … the different forms and shapes of validation and how they are planned and conducted (e.g.: Hardware-in-the-Loop, V-Model)
- … how test benches are working and how to develop them (hardware, software, model building)
- … how simulation is applied, scaled and connected to real systems
- … the future: Large Language Models, Gamification in Validation
Organisational Information
The lecture will be held in English within 13 lecture sessions in present. In the lectures included, we will have a lead example module (automated driving), an invited speaker lecture and a walk through the IPEK test bench field.
All locations and times can be found in the Vorlesungsverzeichnis (see Link VLNr.).
