Under the motto "Living the change", a workshop was held to identify the current state of implementing PLM philosophy within the Energy and Sugar divisions . Based on the results of the workshop, the necessary steps for implementing the required change were derived to bring PLM proactively to life. In addition, vision and mission for the Operation Units Energy and Sugar were developed together with the Product Lifecycle Managers in exciting sessions. Therefore, an interactive Keynote with the topic “From Vision and Mission to Strategy and Smart Goals” was held by IPEK. This involved a joint interactive analysis of existing visions and missions of well-known companies. The OU Energy will be “Leading by empowering our customers with sustainable and reliable energy solutions.”, by means of their vision. “Leading by serving sweet solutions!”, will be the vision under which the OU Sugar will live their PLM philosophy. In the following two days, the necessary steps to strive for the visions and missions were discussed in the product-related interviews and finally integrated in the product roadmaps. Meanwhile, Automation & Digitalization meetings were conducted to explore further potentials for the integration of automation and digitization solutions into the different products of Operation Units Energy and Sugar. Here as well a strategy was developed.
“Our Automation and Digitization drive has the goal to translate product ideas into revenue.”
- Martin Krex – Global Product Lifecycle Manager at thyssenkrupp Automation & Digitalization
