Das Systemtriple der Produktentwicklung beschreibt die Produktgestaltung als eine kontinuierliche Interaktion von drei Systemen. Einschließlich der Konstrukteure und der Konstruktionsaktivitäten entwickelt das Arbeitssystem gleichzeitig zwei verschiedene Systeme: das System der Ziele und das System der Objekte. Der Entwicklungsprozess bringt also neben dem Endprodukt ständig Informationen hervor, auf denen neue Ziele basieren, sowie Objekte, auf denen neue Informationen basieren.

The system triple of product engineering describes product design as a continuous interaction of three systems. Including the designers and the design activities, the operation system is simultaneously developing two different systems: the system of objectives and the system of objects. Hence, besides the final product, the development process continuously brings out information, new objectives are based on, as well as it brings out objects, new information is based on.
